Offering continuing professional development teaching
ABC-Resus Training is dedicated to offering quality assured training by a clinical expert. The onus is on the employer to determine that their acute care and resuscitation training provision adequately meets the Practice’s needs. Professionals can be reassured that as an Emergency Department Sister with current experience of emergency care delivery, as well as an 'Advanced Resuscitation Council Life Support Instructor' and 'Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor', you will not find a more credible training provider with current experience.
ABC-Resus Training not only delivers mandatory training requirements but also affordable continuing professional development teaching in resuscitation and acute care, as well as providing a consultancy service for resuscitation equipment, procedure and policy, helping you to meet Care Quality Commission requirements.
Medical emergencies are often sudden and unpredictable.
"A mother runs into the surgery with an unresponsive baby"
Who’s there to meet them at front of surgery? Who’s confident to take control of the situation? Where is the paediatric emergency grab bag?
"A gentlemen suddenly becomes short of breath following drug administration, panicked and shouting he can’t breath, as he falls to the floor"
Is this anaphylaxis? Where’s the anaphylaxis box? What is the dose of adrenaline, how is this given, who can administer it?
The ability to act fast and with confidence
When faced with an acute illness or injury scenario staff must have the ability to act fast and be confident and competent in doing so, which will enable staff to give the right care to the patient whilst summoning the right help. Acute patient deterioration can be a challenging time for professionals, especially when staff are not presented with this challenge on a day to day occurrence. ABC-Resus Training understands these challenges and provides quality, supportive and sympathetic training through the use of simulation.
